  • More than ten years research experience in designing groundwater remediation systems
  • Designed surfactant systems for several field demonstrations of surfactant enhanced subsurface remediation (SESR) at DOD sites (Hill AFB, NAVY Alameda Point, McClellan AFB, Tinker AFB), and industrial or UST sites (Wyoming, MI, Golden, OK)
  • Developed innovative permeable reactive barrier (PRB) system for treating inorganic contaminants such as nitrate and Cr(VI) for the U.S. EPA, Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center, Ada, OK
  • Designed a unique methodology to characterize the performance of redox reactions in the PRBs
  • Developed the chemical oxidation system for remediation of DNAPL and LNAPL
  • Designed surfactant flushing system for Tertiary Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) in Nowata, OK
  • Co-authored fifteen refereed journal articles and over forty conference presentations/seminars
  • Serve as a Reviewer for: Environmental Science and Technology, Journal of Environmental Engineering (ASCE), Ground Water, Langmuir, Water Research, Waste Management, Environmental Research Brief (USEPA).
